For nearly three hundred years, New Bern, North Carolina has been a mariner’s dream. Easy access down the Neuse River, to the Intracoastal Waterway, and out to the Atlantic Ocean and beyond, has kept this a favorite port ‘o call along the east coast. Stately homes have proudly stood along the shores of the twin rivers, the Neuse and the Trent, for centuries. And now, that tradition will continue with the expansion along the Neuse’s historic waterfront of seventeen homes, the first phase of River Station. The concept behind River Station is to blend seamlessly with the 18th century style homes already lining the waterfront. The result will be a new neighborhood with homes nearly indisiguishable from the nationally registered historic sites next door.
